I think it's really good as long as you don't make the mistake of using continuous focusing. Lovely shots anyway.

Completely frivolous shots of what's behind me while I make this post. New Voigtlander Nokton 17.5 mm F/0.95 lens. I , also, just noticed a prop is missing from my father's B-17 (cats?).

Afternoon, below some images I've taken with 75-300. Not the ideal shooting conditions shooting predominantly at 260-300mm and the first time I've used this lens

Matt! you have a collection of Drones!

We went for a wet and misty walk before work this morning (drones not in evidence).

    These were with the 12-35

Evening all, just had my OMD for just over a week or so. Though I havenít had time to explore all of its features or to be honest be that creative with it my first impressions of the camera are great. All shots taken on the kit lens.

Re: Fun with the Olympus OMD

Some pictures I took at the Olympic boxing earlier this week with the 75-300mm. Fast moving subjects, testing lighting conditions in a small seat at the back of the area with cheering fans proved a little problematic but that's the fun of photography. Love the rapid burst capability this camera provides.

Jono: These are both great. That first one really captures the 'mist'. Remember to be effective, 'drones' can't be seen. I wonder how many are currently flying over London?

Our drones, robots and wind-ups are captive; battery-less and unwound. Although, maybe late at night...

    Cheers, Matt

Third day in a row, that I'm waiting for an HVAC repairman (third company, too), so, I shot a few more with the CV 17.5mm MFT f/.95. This might be the only CV lens that I keep more then a few weeks. No drones overhead, here, because the police aren't allowed to have them. These are jpegs processed in LR4 (forgot to change back to RAW).

The EM5 + 12-50 kit lens in macro mode is proving an amazing tool when combined with flash (I'm using an old FL36). I've been refreshing my technique for shooting Bees in Flight and am finding I can get results at least as good (if not better) than those I managed with the 7D / 5Dmk2 + 100 f2.8 LIS macro

    Great images everyone!

Matt - interesting to see the degree of subject isolation available from that lens with this format. A keeper? Would be good to hear your thoughts.

Thanks Mike. It's a picture of a couple of squatter families that live under an overpass. Every time I walk past I stop, take a few shots and spend a few moments talking with them.

+1 Not only is it a great photo, but it's also very, very Manila.

Hi Kurt - I keep coming back to it as well (and on facebook).
Apart from being a lovely photo (that little girl at the bottom) it epitomises what I like in photography, in that it's intimate, interesting, positive and absolutely not patronising. I guess it isn't great to live under an underpass (certain sure), but you've imbued these people with dignity and made a picture which I'm sure they would (do?) approve of.

It's something I also like about Jorgen's photography . . .maybe we should all live out in the east? (our Sim just flew to China for another year yesterday - we'll miss him - but!)

hooray hoorah I say - and thank you for presenting such a lovely and positive image.

The kit lens has a lot going for it - it's not as sharp as the Panasonic 12-35 . . . but it's 1/3 price, and it IS sharp. It's also very flexible, and the macro is a real winner.
