OM-D: can the clip-on flash trigger strobes?

I use the GXR with the 50 macro module for this presently—but does anyone know if the Oly clip-on flash can trigger strobes?

I am going to play with this today; but was hoping for a faster answer!

Kit,

A standard Canon flash at 1/128 power trips my strobes just fine.

Let us know how it works!

Hello Matt,

I found that the clip-on flash works perfectly, providing you have dialled in enough power (mine needed 1/4 power to fire the strobes reliably). I taped a piece of paper in front of the on-camera flash, too; it bounced the light up to the ceiling (and kept that light off the job) and the strobes fired perfectly.

And no batteries needed—nice job, Olympus!
