Olympus 60mm F2.8 Macro is an impressive lens

I've used many a macro lenses over the years and I'm extremely impressed by the performance of this lens. I can't believe it's only $600.

My only complaint is that the hood seems hard to find! All this and it's weather sealed!

Will be adding a ringlight kit to my bag in the near future and really see what this thing can do.

Some good examples of what the 60mm macro can do.

It works rather well in other non-macro situations too, here's I one shot with it in a lovely old pub recently (1/15th sec with f4)

Dear 60/2.8 owners,
is it possible to post a portrait captured in available light on 2.8? With minimum PP.
I want and will buy this lens when it come to Montreal. Just wondering about it's use in a portrait field.
Thanks.
