    2014 - year of 4K cameras

Sony, Lumix ... and sure others will show 4K cameras.

    It's time for 4K

Why only smartphones (Sony Xperia Z1, Samsung Note3, ...) should make 4K videos?

I am hoping that at least in 2014 we will see a decent digital camera with no video.

Seems fair, we have a video camera that takes no stills - the BMPCC

As a practical matter, my excellent Sony RX1, which has lousy video, qualifies.

I, however, wish for a camera that is strong for both stills and video.

With luck, Panasonic hasn't forgotten to fully upgrade the stills capability in their rumored GH4 video monster.

    Best,

    Bill

Not so sure, Bill. What it has are great but it does not have makes it wanting.
