I have metering for E-M5 and E-PL5 both set to "Center-Weighted Averaging." In the EXIF data (read via Irfanview) the E-M5 says "Multi-Segment" and the E-PL5 says "Center Weighted Averaging." EXIFs in Photoshop Elements also differ. EPL5 is "center weight" and E-M5 is "Pattern." I suspect that Center-Weighted metering (per the menu choices) works the same on both cameras, but maybe not. Any guesses why the EXIFs differ?
