    Sport is not healthy.
Here is my son a few weeks ago on a marriage (suit) on his crutches.
He likes to play soccer and had an operation on his knee one day before leaving to Canada.
Everything is fine now, so that is good. But is he gonne play soccer again?

It looks like you owe 57.55 on your Amex. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
But this camera's high iso is way better than the G1

    Hey Keith,

So, you were really shocked ??
No thats not the real balance...add 0 to the right end and add a 2 in front... lol

That gives 257550 WOW !!! Is it real ??? And if so i would not tell !
Those figures have nothing to do with my Amex ! Which is btw outdated.

Re: G1?...we don't need no stinking G1/Picture thread

    Keith,

well i understand you look very close into picturedetails. So this picture is for you:
    The questions are not:
Which town is the map from ?
What car is the key from ??
From whom did i rent that car ??

    No, the question is:
How many kilometers did the car go until today ???

For the interested reader: E-P1 with the old Tamron SP 90 at F2.5

But I am at a disadvantage because I go to Europe only once or twice a year - so I rely on m3photo to get these things right.
How did he know it was an Audi?
Also I am six hours behind, so m3 gets to tackle all the interesting things first!

    The truth:

    City: Trapani
    Car: Ford Focus
KM : 150 Km, nearly new...you could have seen that. The key has nearly no signes of usage...

He obviously didn't! He guessed it was an Audi key because he used to have one back when Audis were the only ones to have this type of flip-key - before Ford et al copied the idea

My favorite three wheeler - they put two wheels at the front. When I was a kid I had a Reliant, which had the one wheel at the front, and was not fun to drive in the winter. Do you have a pic of the whole machine?

I am so sorry. But that exhibition was so crowdy and the car so damned close together. No pic of the complete machine possible.

But take your seat here: and give us a smile

Some post-shot fun. Funny thing about this camera -- it prompts me to think more in terms of images rather than just photographs.

Keith, Thanks. The contrast issue is minor. I could not see several shades of grey earlier!

A key thing about the contrast is that with higher contrast there are fewer details. While one can adjust the contrast, details lost are gone forever.

They warned me. Dont do that. No SIGMA lens.
Backfocus, frontfocus, nofocus, all this stuff. Built quality bad, out of package early return to service base all this jokes.

SIGMA EX DG HSM 50 mm f1.4
It is bulky, not very fast but tacksharp and spot on ! Like the lens much. What do you think ?

Can't see the picture (yet) I have the Sigma 24/18, very good lens but huge even on the E-3.

Klaus, What is important is that you like what you use. The stories about Sigma lenses and mis-focus are tall tales that I do not believe. The much maligned 30/1.4 is one of my favorite lenses (APS-C).

As for the sample, the whites appear blown (nothing to do with the lens), there is CA in the OOF areas (may or may not have anything to do with the lens).

Hi, love the shots on here as usual :-)

Heres a few I took last weekend in Norfolk. Hope you enjoy them.
The first was at Pensthorpe (a waterfowl trust I think) which was also hosting a medieval event. There was a falconry area which allowed you to get close to the birds. This was with the 45-200.

    One of the many tents

Another showing tents and people dressed up.

A lady making fibres to weave clothing / matts out of (i think!!!)

A view of tents across the gardens.

It was a really fun interesting day :-)

    Kind regards
    Matt

A couple of rather pedestrian shots from Buskerfest in Toronto last weekend. This was the first time I've used the Canon FD 85mm f/1.8 on the G1. The pics are at f/2.8 rather than wide open; having to work quickly in manual focus I wanted a touch more depth of field for insurance. Apparently, this husband/wife team (acrobatics/juggling) won a prize for their performances.

    Best regards,
    John.
