While having some fun with the princess i realized that i never had a real chance.
    So here is the result:

Summicron R 90mm F2.0. It is soooo beautiful.....
    Pure lenslust.

When I was shooting R lenses on the R9/DMR the 90 cron was one of my absolute favorites. It was easy to focus (certainly compared to the 80 Lux!) and was razor sharp. One of Leica's finest efforts.

    Congratulations and great images

Hi Klaus, thank you for sharing with us the way you PP your pics. I have been viewing your pics and studying your histograms becos I like my pics bright like the way they are shot. From the above guidelines I can now go try working both Contrast and Saturation.

    Thanks once again.

I stay with Oly, the dance with the devil ended with that cron 90 offering....
And the little devil btw is very happy with my decision. She said: "Darling, if you want.. do it. But keep in mind: the most beautiful shots you did were made with your Oly. Its better to invest money in glass !" Wise words.... so i kissed her and gave her my creditcard for shopping !

These images are truly superb. I can't imagine wanting better color than you have achieved here.

Best of luck as you go forward with the Leica / Oly combination.

Ah, nice Klaus. That is called tablet or card weaving in the US (from a 'retired' pro textile designer/weaver/surface designer LOL).

I particularly like the 2nd. You manage to find such interesting--and may I say diverse---subjects.

    Great series Klaus!
Brian, Sheffield and the lake very nice.
Left my G1 battery charger in the wrong house so I had to grab the E-3 today which is not a punishment. Time to post in the no stinking thread.

This is a new building set on concrete base of an old harbourcrane track.

Green paradise. Looks so silent, so idyllic.
And we can see the DR of the 620 is indeed good. ISO200 offers the max range. Blue sky and white clouds with visible structures and dark green with fine details.

Never ever trust the automatic mode.
This pic was supposed to become a 4 x4 stiched pano. But i was in a hurry and just threw in the pics into the pano software, set it to automatic mode and left the house. Well this was the outcome....

Better do it the manual way....

Yes it is excellent - cubism, Picasso would have been proud (or maybe would have stolen the idea!)

Thanks Klaus, I think I'm improving... just focusing on my immediate area at the moment.

Whatever you need to do, get yourself a 14-35mm SWD... it's as close to perfect optically as you can imagine!

    Cheers

    Brian

    Klaus, your photos are beautiful.

I have never been able to get cruise ship photos that look like that.

May I ask what you use for lighting?

    Thanks, Bill L.
