:chug:

Indeed Bart I am.
That number 425mm is taken directly from C1Pro.:facesmack:
Who am I to argue with them.
Also with the EC-20, the widest aperture I get is f/5.7 and not f/5.6.:facesmack:
Go figure!

Well, I take the sharp pictures!

Did I say I envy you for living in such a place with such wonderful birds ?

:salute:
Thank you Bart. Indeed, I am blessed to live in such an enchanting place. There is no better word for it.
BTW, except for the buzzards, i.e. Turkey Vultures, all other birds, that I take pictures of, visit our backyard!
Even the Sandhill cranes occasionally fly directly high above our house.
Deer, Elk, Coyotes, Mountain Lions, and last Summer even a Bear visited our area. Lots of excitement. :banghead:

Well, that's weird. Must be the heat then ...
No heat, it's freezing now.

For my 300/4 Pro with MC-14 it says 420mm and f/5.6.
For the 300/2.8 with EC-20 and FT adapter it reads 425mm and f/5.7.

I can live with that.

I'll also stick with my Olympus gear, far too heavy invested right now in order to do a switch. AND .... in not so long time Olympus will have their EM1.3 and I am sure it will top a G9 in all sections again. So what is the benefit of switching?
