    Starting to experiment with G1, FD 50 f/1.8 and FD 12mm extension tube.

    Taken yesterday in the rain. Weeping cherry buds with rain drop

    Oh, I love pussy willows and the above photo reminded me of one I took very early in Spring--actually in mid Winter LOL. This one was taken with 45-200 f/5.6 45mm back on Jan. 22 not long after I got the G1 and took it to a wintery botanical garden about an hour south of me (but lower altitude in western NC). I went to photograph in the toasty orchid house but spent some time outdoors and found these.


    VERY early Spring signs here--we had several snows after this.
