I'm borrowing this lens for a couple of days. My gut feeling right now is that it's a very nice lens, but that it lacks the sharpness wide open that the 12-35/35-100 f/2.8 duo offers. It seems to have a "personality" similar to that of the 4/3 mount PL 14-50mm f/2.8-3.5. It's very convenient, and probably an excellent "go anywhere, any time" lens. Dual IS works like a charm, and basically obsoletes the need for a tripod. Compared to the Zuiko 12-100mm monster, it's a tiny lens. That helps too.
Oh.... and bokeh is fantastic. Look at the background in the "window" in the first image.
