Just to liven up this thread: there is a new long term review of the G9 over at Daniel Cox's 'Natural Exposure' website.

The review is particular relevant to photographers like me who are using the G9 primarily for wildlife. In Daniel's blog he also reviews (seperately) the Leica 200/2.8 and the Leica 50-200/4.
