I was pleased to learn this when I ordered the G85 battery grip, since I already have extra batteries for my pair of GX8s. It was also a surprise that the G85 battery grip actually comes with a battery. I could be mistaken, but I don't recall ever buying a battery grip that came with a battery. Well done Panasonic.
