This good:
This image was underexposed and lifted 1.5 stops in ACR. It's shot with the cheapish Panasonic 100-300mm II, wide open at 264mm and f/5.4. I'm often surprised what I get out of this combo.

The colour shift of her velour top is from the stage lighting, not the processing.

GX8 with Pana 100-300mm II @ 264mm and f/5.4

I'm sure it would be even better if it had been shot with a D850 and a Nikkor 200-500mm f/5.6, but that's 3 kg of gear at $5,000 while this is 1 kg of gear at $2,000.

Great shot Jorgen!

However I do not get your calculation - how can the GX8 with 100-300 II be $2000 ?????

PS: it would have been even better with the new Nikon Z7 and the same lens :cool:;)

Yeah, it's less than $2,000. More like 1,500 nowadays. I actually paid $400 for my last GX8 body, hardly used, and 600 for the lens new :)

Well there you go: per kg the Nikon is cheaper (and better too) ... :p
