Jack, Guy and all others!For those who like me can miss top-banner important info,
I thought I'd post a notice here re grave news re this forum.
As one would expect, many regulars don't want to take this lying down --see the thread in Site forum.
As I already mentioned a private message to Jack I am shocked that this forum should no longer exist. After many Forums I visited and participated throughout my photography life the GetDPI forum turned out to be the absolutely best, most honest and open minded place to be! I really would love to see this forum continue.

I always miss the top banner info... My mind has simply eliminated that part of a web page from my consciousness since it is almost always nothing but boilerplate and advertisements. No adblocker needed...
But I ran into the previous threads on this subject yesterday. And yes: I will support any efforts to keep GetDPI in operation to the best of my ability. It's an excellent resource and audience, also a place where people like me who use a lot of diverse equipment can talk with others of like mind and enjoy whatever they're using too.
I hope Jack and Bob succeed in transitioning the site to a new footing, and take the stress of operating it off themselves. Doing anything like this for a long time is a lot of work and time involved, I applaud and thank them for all their efforts over all this time!
