Trying a Cosmicar 12.5 f1.4 on my GF1

I need to machine the C mount to fit properly in my C mout to m4/3 adapter otherwise I can't get the infinity focus.
Someone that knows this optic can tell me the best way? Should be lovely! ;)

The snowpack is slowly melting and the area waterfalls are just starting to break loose. This is Buttermilk Falls which was frozen solid all winter but it will soon be a raging torrent. E-P2+Carl Zeiss 2/45 Planar G.

Hi Carl,
Your images produced by the Carl Zeiss Planar 45mm F2 G lens are outstanding in this thread and elsewhere. We would love to see more images both in B&W and color! All the best, Leica 77. :)

Thank you Leica 77. I can't seem to keep this lens off my camera:) In addition to being razor sharp the 45 2 exhibits no CA in shots where I might expect it could pop up and also no significant edge/corner distortion. Just an outstanding lens. The 35 and 90 are also excellent.

I've been really impressed by the results you've gotten out of this lens as well. If I had a budget it would definitely be near the top of my list.

Just one more quick panorama from this last week to share.
Olympus E-P1 with Zuiko 17mm
iso200 at f/16
45 shots total. Nine wide and five deep.

If you'd like take a look at the full size (actually half size due to flickr size restrictions) version,
http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4011/4410406044_36082a6016_o.jpg

Increasingly I am finding that the 17mm f/2.8 and FD 50mm f/1.4 take care of nearly all my photographic needs day to day.

Good for you, Devon. You are keeping your tools to a minimum and your artistic ability to the maximum. I really enjoyed this panorama.

Devon, Fantastic picture. I took a look at the Flicker picture and I'm wondering if that is an Angel in the upper left center area of the clouds?

Its magic resides in the fact that you've "wrapped" it nicely with the wall each side, well done.

I found the same when travelling - a Pentax K10 (back then), and the equivalents of a 32mm and 105mm lenses were the ideal companions. Actually I'm sorry I sold these two lenses as they were pancakes and ideal for short trips.
Images taken with this combo are here, if anyone's interested:

Thank you Devon. There are a lot of these old Contax lenses around so keep your eye open for a bargain.

I'll be sure to do that.

Thanks everyone about the panorama.

Jerry, it's actual a seagull that flew through one of the layered shots. I thought about cloning it out but decided the ghost bird added to the overall photograph.

Michael, those were interesting to look through. I particularly like your "reflections of youth" shot.

I haven't got there yet. I still prefer to shoot with longer FL lenses but the 17mm has certainly become one of my fav. lenses. I hardly miss a shot with it.

I appreciate your taking the time to look at them. The "reflections of youth" shot was an obvious coincidence - one of the lucky grabs.

This one was easier:

Well Kept - Not Kept

Hopefully I don't post too much here.
I just finished processing the photographs I got at my school's production of Chicago last night. Thought I'd show a few before running off to sleep.

E-P1 with Canon Serenar 85mm f/2.0
All wide open. ISO between 800 and 1250
