Last night was very snowy here in Brussels.
This morning, we had a flight to Moscow to take, but the airport got more or less closed to incoming traffic, and our flight was cancelled.:mad::mad:

So we went back home, and I shot a few pics in the garden, while my wife started decorating the Christmas tree :angel:

Here's the snow we got last night :eek:

Well done, Peter !
I see some traces of colour in the arm of the guitar player.
How did you do that ?

Thanks for kind words. I had a film camera with me, but, no frames left. :( I just went in for a rest and Iced Tea.
ACDSee Pro 3 has 2 ways to eliminate color, in the "General" dialog there is Expoure, Highlight Recovery, Fill Light, Contrast, Vibrance, sliders...The Vibrance slider is like a saturation tool (-100 to +100). I used this, but forgot to also desaturate with the proper tool. I do both as a work-flow when I about myself :eek:

Then I have a 9 slider tone control (called Lighting in ACDSee), I use to bring up or down localized tones.

@kweide

Your Polo series is absolutely stunning...
I like the high contrast, it really puts the photographs in an almost "sur-real" effect.

The horses and ponies at the Chateau don't seem to mind the snow :confused:
