I have missed buses, and indeed recently. My customary stop (241 service at stop 14A) requires attendance up to 10 minutes—or so—before the next timed stop on the timetable (stop 16, about a kilometre south) so as not to miss the damn thing. One day as I ambled eastwards along Vincent Street, 12 minutes before the next timed stop, the red, yellow and blue SOB sailed past. Grrrrr.

I turned 180° and walked westwards 1Km to Marion Road, where I caught an M44 bus (every 15 minutes during the week) to Marion shopping centre. That walk is often a fruitful photographic feast.

Used to drink Amstel years ago—excellent beer! Haven’t seen it here in South Australia for a long time.
