Waterlilies, .... show yours !

Hi,

My wife just called me into the garden, and proudly announced that the first waterlily in our garden pond was open !

So, I got the G1 with the Micro-Nikkor 55mm/2.8 and got this shot :

Hre's mine--about 2 weeks ago. Its Texas Dawn, always hardy along with another yellow, Medallion--looks as though we lost several of our older lilies over the winter.

Last week, heavy thunderstorms flooded our pond, so we had to completely clean it :thumbdown::thumbdown::mad::mad:

But now, most things have returned to normal, so here's another pic :
