G1 vs. E-P1 size comparison

Great visual comparisons. Two quick questions:
1. Would the relative size of the E-P1 to the D-Lux 4 be about the same as to the GRD?
2. Have you run into heating up with the E-P1, as I have read about that from two different users in different forums. I have never had a hot -- literally or figuratively -- camera and wonder about it, especially since I live in Florida.
