Pany G1 DNG File Sizes w CS3

Are outrageous, 45 mb each when converted with Photoshop ACR/CS3.

If I upgrade to CS4 will the new ACR convert my old DNGs to the smaller file size (I know, wishful thinking).

Other than file size, I don't have a particular desire to "upgrade" to CS4 so are there any other good alternatives? I hated SilkyPix on my Mac.

Download for free Adobe dng Converter, convert to dng. CS3 can't use the latest version.
