    Woody:

Thanks a lot for your kind comments. This is a couple with a very interesting life... I did a wedding in Mexico in 2007 and met them while driving through their town "El Triunfo", they were just sitting in front of their house. I talked to them for hours and they allowed me to take some portraits of them. This summer I went back to Mexico to shoot another wedding in Cabo and stopped by their town again, I was not expecting to see them alive since they live in pretty tough conditions, but believe it or not, they were sitting at their front porch just like the year before, it just broke my heart... I spent another couple of hours again with them and took this portraits I posted, they remembered me and told me that they may sell the house and finally move somewhere else.

I am going back to Mexico next summer to shoot another wedding and will stop by to see them again but I hope they moved somewhere else where someone can take better care of them... BTW, she states she's in her 60s, that should give you an idea on how tough their life is...

    Cheers,

Helen, with your wonderful enthusiasm Im sure you can bend Jack and Guys collective arm.
The toy in the photo was made by me as the last in what was a series of images,if I can find the rest Ill print them and show the series and you can make up your own mind.
I second that emotion. I shoot with a F6 and Zeiss ZF lenses & a H2F 645 and would love a place to pop on some shots.

    Go get 'em Helen

Fine by me, but we really *DON'T* want to clog up the forum with tons of menu options. So can we do one "analog" camera section and let you manage the content via the titles of the individual threads?

Ok, because I have veiwed this thread I bought a M7 [MP]. I haven't shot film in 10 years and I have never gone through the scanning/PS workflow so I might have some questions. But the pictures here are stunning.

Then I went to a bullfight, my first ever and shot this with the 135/3.4 APO (And yes, I was in the stands, not the arena!):

Okay, enough scanning for now, need to do some work -- but getting the hang of Vuescan on my new Nikon 9000 and have to say scanning is getting pretty easy compared to what we used to have to deal with!

The MP finder has less propensity to flare-out in bright light than the stock M6ttl/M7 finder.

Jack : Your shots are Superb
The Nudes are quite Tasteful & Sensual
    & The Bullfight is FAB

Knorp/Bart: The color is Brilliant & resolution sooo Crisp

Michael/MWalker: Congrats on your MP /a Beauty

To me FILM is like a DRUG ...a Worthwhile Addiction

    Today i got a 1962 M2 /just CLA'd / which will marry the 1962 Lux
so probably eric will steal the M4
but He will have to fight for the 1958 DR cron
To me that is the all time BEST lens I have ever tried

I am so PLEASED that so many of us share this addiction....

Mike, this thread cost me a pretty penny as well! Not as much as you, but I can pretty well blame this thread for a Zeiss ZI and three lenses .

William, that Neopan shot is great! I've only used the Alien Skin version of that film, which is of course a pale imitation .

Jack, love the bullfight! Great angle on the bull's approach, and the matador looks to be cornered with that framing.

This was taken at the Queens birthday salute just outside the tower of london. This is a mixture of smoke from the cannon fire and film grain;incredible noise and smell from the guns.
