Cindy - great shots of Erin! Lovely color

Dan - a couple of excellent sets! My favorite shot of the last couple is the first wedding shot - excellent! The wall st march as a set is also excellent

    Great work Cindy and Dan.

    Dan,

I Miss shooting in protest, there will be a protest here tomorrow morning against the farmers and our government. A photojournalist friend told me that the protest will turn into a huge riot. But I'm hoping that it will not. Anyway, keep up the good work Dan, you really got a cool shooting style.

Cindy, post more photos of Erin please. She is gorgeous! I've wanted to do a photo shoot with models, but I don't have the ability to direct them in front of the camera. You did great on how you made her pose and project. That is the most challenging part in a model shoot.

Another wonderful photograph of your son! A nice contrast to the other two images on the previous page. This image being a bit softer then the others.

Chris, Very moving photo and my hope is for a full recovery.

Edward, Your photo is very beautiful. The film grain gives the glass and metal such a lovely glow...digital just doesn't render in this way.

Thank you Cindy. Iso 800 film isn't exactly the best choice for this kind of shots but that's what I happened to have in the camera. Having shot only digital for the last 4 years, I'm amazed at the color palette of different films. My Sony has been sitting on the shelf ever since I got the M6

I see my photo in post #2471 has lost its photo. Seems like LR updates an image on Flickr and the link is lost. Here it is:

    OK, you're all inspiring me.

The Leica M4-2 has returned from having the rangefinder cleaned, collimated and calibrated: works smooth and slick now. The A&A neckstrap I ordered is lovely too.

I'm fitting the Skopar 21mm and viewfinder on the camera, sticking the Skopar 50 in my pocket, tossing in a roll of XP2 Super, and going for a walk.

I don't know. I re-loaded the page and I can still see both photos of your Mom. BTW, your son looks like a movie star with that shorter hair.

Re: How about more and more fun with Leica M? (Film)

I think the photo must be in your browser's cache. If it were possible to edit a post I would change the link in the original post. I didn't realise that letting LR re-publish a photo to Flickr would break any links to it. I'll have to try to stop it doing that in future, or upload them elsewhere.

BTW, I like your results with Portra. I've got some Ektar 100 in the freezer and should try it out soon.

Always nice to have daughter and grandchildren home for the holiday!

. . . . . the film was scanned at 60 minute photo lab in Seattle and do not know what scanner they use. Next time I drop by I will ask.

Godfrey, looking forward to you posting some photographs!
