A few weeks ago - the seasonīs most beautiful ski-trip. Now it seems to be mostly over - even if we had some more of the white stuff yesterday.

Beautiful place, and a very nice shot, Leif. I feel your pain... perfect ski conditions last weekend, and then temps above 14C all this week. Looks like we're done for the year. (I've been done since I fell and broke my elbow the end of January, but my wife has been out a lot, and is mourning the end of the season.)

Bad luck with your elbow, Lloyd - hope you recover soon. Still able to shoot I hope.
Iīm aiming for a slow klister-trip or two before itīs really over. Spring is ok too, I guess.

Beautiful photographs Vobluda, Rayyan, Cindy & Leif!

It is nice to come back when time permits and see the contributions posted by you all!

ReeRay, the 45 Contax G with the adaptor is the same one that I had used. I do not believe it is from Japan Exposures.

Hope everyone is having great weather and light.

Ending a couple of weeks of rain and cold here in Seattle. Finally had some sun this past weekend but more rain is now in the forecast.

Re: How about more and more fun with Leica M? (Film)

just picked up an M6 kit, with the zeiss 35 c-biogon...shot a couple rolls so far. the first had issues with exhausted developer at work. the second didn't seat properly in the camera, and i got to 41 shots before the counter stopped going, and it wouldn't rewind. lol. third roll i used to photograph my students at a ceramics competition last friday. i figured i'd just have it done locally since it's not anything important. walgreens scans are atrocious, but serve as proofs for what i'll do a better job with tomorrow at work on the v700. anywho...a few quick shots. all wide open, naturally.

    M6, 35/2.8 c-biogon, portra 400.

and this is just a snap of my beloved bed. lol. testing the window light in my room for a model shoot tomorrow.

Swim Miami 2012. M6 TTL .85, Tri-X at 800, ancient Canon 35/1.9 for Leica. The lens is ok. I think I need another 35. Thinking about the CV 35/1.2 version 2. Fiddled with structure in Silver Efx 2. Had to sneak these because I was standing in the official's area.

Long lost history books talk about ancient civilizations. They talk about the ancient dwellers that used primitive methods to record their life in pictures...

How quaint, we might think. Some even think of it to this day...

The medium used by the ancients was sometimes referred to as being ' organic '. As opposed to being ' plastic '.

It is said that whole industries grew up to replicate this ' organic ' look! Whatever that means.

I guess it was used to compare it with the ' plastic ' look! Whatever that means too. Maybe like the water bottle..

History shall later record that machines were invented to record images in a way that the human eyes generally do not see. Expensive machines.

Like viewing the image below in just b&w and shades in between. Color shall
become a thing of the past. Some shall rave about it.

    A world without color. Progress.

Plastic flowers in plastic b&w. ( note..the flowers shown are mostly silk and cloth though. ' Organic ' mostly.).

Woody, This lens belongs to Monza (Robert). He is handling the conversions for Hawk. I have sent my 35 Contax G to him for the conversion. I have emailed him and told him that you are looking for information.

A few from a roll of Portra 160 and my M7 0.72. The first three were with Leitz 5cm f/2 Summicron-M and the last two with Contax CZJ 5cm f/1.5 Sonnar converted to ltm by Brian Sweeney. All were scanned with Nikon V scanner.
