M5-Guy: +1. I must of missed this. Division of labor. Well seen.Love the tone,the "player's",reflection & Lawyer's Name!
Cindy: Thank you. Film really gives that image a certain quality.Matt, Yummy Ektar! Love those wine glasses.
M5-Guy, Welcome and what a great first post.
cindy: Great photos! I like the first two. This last one really intrigues me. The tonality and the geometry in the composition are very cool. I take it this wheel opens the floodgates? I'm adding that film to my list.Fisherman on the Wolf River at Kesheena Falls, Wisconsin

Maggie: Excellent shots of Scooter and mom. "Now buzz off!". The only film link when I google ShurFine 400 is one of your posts? Did you make that film up? Also, Mom's got a nice laptop.
Thanks, Matt! Both mom and Scooter occasionally get exasperated with my documentation of them. Oh well, nobody becomes a reporter to be popular! :ROTFL:Maggie: Excellent shots of Scooter and mom. Thanks!! I think she rocks, too! She's a very sweet and complex little furball.Maggie, Scooter rocks! I have a soft-spot for the feline companion.
Here is one from a Santeria ceremony I attended in the villiage of Chivirico in Cuba:

Neopan 1600 rated EI 1000 and processed in Xtol (1:1)

@ Maggie, lovely camera, lovely images. Which film are you using for your color work?
JPlomley: Terrific photo! Blurred, contrasty, cross over the shoulder at the "alter". You can feel the moment. Santeria ceremony - not a typical tourist haunt? Really nice. Cheers, Matt...

Maggie: More nice images (and some Leica porn!). I like the DOf in the tomato still life. That lens is very cool. The Walgreen's processing (I'm assuming) is kinder to darker images, like the tomatoes and the camera. I'm not being critical (I know that its your best processing option), just noting it. Cheers, Matt.
Selective focus at its Finest!
Steve: Thanks. That's good beer, too. Cheers, MattSelective focus at its Finest!
Nice colors and fantastic use of DOF. What lens??? (If the answer is Noctilux, don't tell me.:ROTFL
Thanks, Matt! Yeah, the darker shots do tend to look better, but part of that is probably also to do with the wild DR and contrast in the bright daylight shots, too.Maggie: More nice images (and some Leica porn!).
