How about more and more fun with Leica M? (Film)

Love the light in the first two. The bokeh is a little harsh in the leaves of the trees in the third shot. But I still love these older lenses.

Yes indeed, but I sold the Canon 35mm f1,5 recently.
I love the way that Xenon renders - I am lucky to have sample with perfectly clean glass.
And now some Summaron M 35mm f3,5 time - really interesting lens..
(And one of my favourite lens to come in the next post)

And now Millenium Nikkor 50mm f1,4 (with adapter on M of course, BW is converted from the same roll).
No more usurping the thread from me though I just find few more nice with Xenon:)

The Look

The Look - Santa Clara 2011
Leica M4-2 + Voigtländer Skopar 50mm f/2.5
XP2 Super + Nikon Coolscan V + Lightroom 3.5

Something about this camera and lens just feels so right.

Thanks for looking, comments appreciated.

Re: The Look

A special moment captured. I like the texture of the grain and also the border. They add to the telling of this story.

Vobluda, some beautiful color photography above. Love the interior shots at the top of the page, railroad tracks, last photo of your son in 2503 (great look on his face and light in his eyes, and the 3 photos of your son in the blue jacket! Very Nice!

Godfrey, a great shot, looks like you are having some fun with the M4-2 and look forward to seeing more of the same!

Thank you all for you kind comments.
Nikkor 10,5cm is not only taking beautiful pictures, but itself it is also beautiful piece of metal.
It is nice that one doesn't need expensive equipment to have fun.

Thank you Godfrey & PT for your kind words, they are appreciated!

Between time spent at work and school, winter light in the Northwest, photo opportunities have been slim the past several weeks.

Anyway a couple from mid-November time frame. When arriving early in the morning the EMT's are ofter washing their rigs . . . .
