    Hasselblad Mutar

I own the 150mm Sonnar, but would like to increase its reach. Can I use the mutar on this lens and what would the approximate FL be? Thanks.

I do not own the 150mm (actually it's one of the only focal lengths missing in my kit), but do own the Mutar 2x. I didn't find any limitations concerning the lenses to be used, and here is the official data sheet:

While I would be a bit cautious to use it on wide-angle-lenses, my guesss is the light tele lenses should be fine.

So, I suppose your 150mm would be with this converter about 300mm.

Thanks for that info. Very useful. I'm considering the Sonnar 250mm as the difference in FL is approximately 30mm from the Mutar w/ the 150mm and I'd only lose one stop. Prices on the 250mm are great too.

Some are not that convinced of the 250mm 5.6, but I have been fairly happy with mine. On film, I never had any issues with it.
