    XP2 in Rodinal

I tried processing a roll of Ilford XP2 120 in Rodinal instead of sending it out for standard C41 processing. Stand developed for 1 hour in 1:120 Rodinal dilution after 5 min presoak in dist H2O, followed by tap water rinse, and normal fix and wash. More grain than C41 processed negs and can't use ICE when scanning because using the silver image and not dyes. Acutance and tonality are OK, but I think I would not do this routinely. Just wanted to see if it could give reasonable results.

I am a big fan of Rodinal, I like the grain it produces.

Thanks Claire. I also like the longevity of Rodinal - stuff last forever and remains potent.
