    New scanner in the family

Picked up a Screen Cezanne a few weeks ago, and finally got it up and running on a G4 MDD. Sample shot taken with it compared to my V750 (100% crop; V750 adjusted to best focus height using betterscanning holders):

Quite a difference. Congratulations on the new gear. I have never heard of this scanner, so I Googled it. I can't wait to see some scans.

That is very impressive. Can I ask what one has to pay for a device like that. Would I have to sell one or two kidneys?

Congrats on the new scanner! Make sure to look into wetmounting - it can make a huge difference and in addition is quite easy on a flatbed.
