Compact Photo Printer Recommendations?

I have an Epson R2400 which I use and love for my big prints, but I'm interested in a smaller printer for doing very small prints, such as business card size up to (at the max) 4X6".

I'm exploring this as a way to easily make up photo diaries using the business card size photos mostly. I'm looking at the Canon Pixma series, probably the Canon Selphy CP740 right now but I'm wondering if you have any other suggestions?

Cheers,

Well, for any of you who might have viewed this thread, I bought the Sony DPP-FP90 photo printer. Interestingly, at the Sony Store, it was $229 Cdn but I bought the same thing for $99 Cdn at London Drugs... quite a savings!

The downside (which I discovered after unpacking it) is that there is no Mac printer driver, which, although I know Sony makes PCs, I find to be astonishing. To get around this, I just save my images to an SD card and pop it in the Sony. I can also just print directly from my cameras, but I usually do at least some PP of the RAW images.

The upside is that it produces very nice prints in about 45 seconds. I've been laying them out and printing 2 to a 4X6 page and they're the perfect size for a journal. B&W images come out very well also.

Cheers,

I got a Sony knowing there was no Mac support but figured I would do the same and that they would release a driver (dye sub). They never did. I like having a small printer around. There is just a lot of simplicity. I also have an old model of the little HP printers (ink jet). I also use the 2 per 4x6 sheet and have used these small prints for exactly the same purpose (small journal).
