GetDPI is proud to announce Lance Schad from the Capture Integration Group www.captureintegration.com will be attending this workshop. Lance will be bringing demo gear in for attendees to try out the latest and greatest in medium format from Phase One with Mamiya demo bodies and a full system of lenses . Plus Cambo wides and other assorted gear. Lance will be on hand to assist in the workshop of any technical issues and address any area. Also Lance will work one on one with anyone that wants to get to know these systems and how they work. Great chance to play before making decision in the future on products that you are looking at. We also hope to have leica once again support our workshop as they have in all of our workshops. This is a great opportunity for you our workshop attendees .

Itinerary, San Juan Puerto Rico, May 13 – 16, 2008
Note that sunrise is approximately 7:15AM and sunset approximately 7:15PM

Tuesday, May 13th
7:30PM to 8:30PM Rum Reception provided by the El Convento Hotel followed by a group dinner. (http://www.elconvento.com/index.cfm) Note that all meals are optional, but we encourage participants to join in as a group. We do discuss a lot of photography and always have a ton of fun during them!

Wednesday, May 14th
7:00AM Optional morning street shoot near hotel, on your own
8:30AM Breakfast meeting at the Patio del Nispero, Serving Gourmet Fare And An Alfresco Ambiance in the El Convento Hotel (http://www.elconvento.com/dining/patio_del_nispero.cfm)
10:00AM After breakfast we will gear up with demo gear and equipment to hit the streets of Old San Juan. We will stop at various places and go through composition, lighting, exposure and other shooting techniques.
1:00PM Break for lunch at a local restaurant and avoid the bad light of the day and continue discussions on photography. (Note that at every break we will have discussions on techniques.)
3:00PM Head out to shoot at and around Fort El Morro (the West end) through sunset.
8:00PM Meet for group dinner at one of the area’s hot spots

Thursday, May 15th
6:30AM Early morning shoot. (The East end of Old Fort is a possible location, but it’s about 1-1/2 miles from our hotel, so we’ll want to arrange cabs the evening before if interested.)
10:00AM breakfast at hotel, personal time off
Noon Raw processing and Photoshop techniques lecture/demo at hotel
3:00PM head out for another sunset shoot

Friday, May 16th
Most of the day Option to take the Rain Forest trip for the day if the group decides on this, OR more street shooting in and around Old San Juan. We will determine this as a group by Wednesday evening.
5:00PM One-on-one critiques of images
8:00PM Dinner and official close of the workshop

Saturday, May 17th
Checkout day, but Guy will be available 8:30AM thorough 11:30AM for more one-on-ones, as needed.
