Here are some of the release details:

Release Details:
EO-1D Mark III & EOS-1Ds Mark III
The new firmware improves the stability of AF accuracy in AI servo AF when shooting extremely low-contrast subjects.
* Even though EOS-1Ds Mark III has not had complaints regarding its AF accuracy, we have incorporated these improvements into the new firmware as well.
Direct selection of AF point by the Multi-controller [Added to C.Fn III-9]
The functions of Exposure compensation/Aperture, and AF point selection or ISO speed set buttons can be switched between each other [Added to C.Fn IV-3]
With the camera’s External Speedlite control menu, Flash function settings can be used to set the Wireless setting and Zoom.
* This is only for EOS-1D Mark III as it is already incorporated in EOS-1Ds Mark III from the initial production EOS-1Ds Mark III.
