Leica M9 with remote / cable flash

I wanted to see if anyone had experience in remote or cable flash with flash head unit from Canon or Nikon.

I am not quite familiar with Leica's flash but I wanted to see if anyone tried with flash from other brands.

Is there a way to connect either a Leica, Canon or Nikon flash using a cable? Or maybe even using remote to fire them?

Do you want the flash to be on or off camera?
I have a set of Ebay wireless triggers from a few years ago. They work on everything I've tired them with. The transmitter goes on the hotshoe, the receiver goes on the flash. I think I paid $40, but they have gotten better since I bought these. Midwest Photo Exchange is a good place to look.

I wanted it to be wireless. I will check out Midwest Photo Exchange.

One more question, have you tried this one a MP?
