For any SF bay area locals, I stopped by Discount Camera in the financial district and was surprised to see they had it in stock. I don't necessarily recommend buying from them based on some of the sleazier practices they have (marking things up over retail value to rip off tourists). That said, I was surprised to find it was offered to me at $599. 
Felt nice to hold, certainly better than the E-PL1 in my opinion.
