VueScan Raw output

Hello there,

i'm thinking of trying VueScan because of its ability to scan in Raw file format. is this the same type of Raw file out of a digital camera or something different? can anyone spare a sample raw file from Vuescan?

The RAW output that Vuescan creates is different than the RAW format that comes from a digital camera capture. When we save the RAW output from Vuescan we can rescan the negative without actually having to place the film in the film scanner. IOW, the saved RAW output is the input for Vuescan.
