just worked out the bugs on a combo grip/L-plate for the Fuji X1-pro, similar to the Sigma grips

1. finely machined aluminum, all edges rounded, black anodize, textured grip, etc.
has an opening so the battery and card can be accessed without removing the grip
2. captive screw attaches grip to camera tripod socket
3. has Arca style grooves for mounting to a tripod clamp, (fits RRS) on base and L-plate
4. also has tripod threads and index marks aligned with lens center, (P and L: orientations)
5. L-plate is cut away to allow access to PC-sync socket
6. weight is 140 g
