Yes, set at a comfortable hyper focal distance at a particular aperture, but that doesn't mean you can't use the facts available to adjust the hyperfocal focus depth by altering the aperture. It is a 65mm lens, so while it's a wide lens on a 4x5 the actual DOF available at each aperture isn't going to be as dramatic as the 21mm field of view equivalent lens on 35mm. So the aperture used and the subject distance will make a more dramatic difference to the overall area in focus than simply setting a 35mm lens at f/8 where the hyperfocal distance is something like 3 feet to infinity. This assumes that the Travelwide camera and lens combination hasn't be optimised for infinity at f/8, but is a much closer usable distance.
