Hi , I'm new here , I had a A700 and now I just got a 900 and zeiss and I suppose i'll be very happy with it ?

So i'll be around here , and hope to learn a lot :)

The first to things I wonder are ,

Can I completely deactivate the LCD ? , and , does 900 focus as you put your eye on the viewer ,like the 700 did ? ( it seams to have the sensors )

Thanks

Cheers

James,

Welcome to the forums.

You can deactivate the LCD by pushing the display button twice.

The eyepiece sensors will turn off the LCD, that's all.

Cheers,
Edward

Thanks Edward, but if you press , iso button for example the lcd comes on again with the info . no ? it would be great for some times to only use the top little screen .

The LCD coming on:
This is a bug (IMHO) that has been carried forward from older Sony & Minolta bodies.

No EyeStart AF in the A900.
