    The S-curve

S curves can really make an image. Here's one from today (Sigma 50.1.4 EX @f/8, D700 ISO 2000 handheld), the 8x10 Velvia will be developed eventually. I've been waiting for those maples to turn. Credits to Monica for spotting the subject.

Very nice, Lars. I'm a sucker for "S" curves in composition. I find them soothing I guess.

Good subject and very well executed. I bet it will make a lovely print.

Thanks I'm having second thoughts on the light - it completely overcast, top-lit, a bit flat. No chance for morning or evening light as the park is surrounded by high buildings.
