Traces of a war: the great battle at Verdun

    Hi,

last year I started a project covering the traces of the first world war at Verdun, France. Even roughly a 100 years after the war you can still see the wounds in the ground, the earth plowed by bombs and mines.

    Any comments welcome.

    Greetings,
    Andrea

Beautifully done. Some super images and great post treatment/toning - very in keeping.

These are amazing images. I agree w/turtle, the toning really lends to the atmosphere.

Thank you both for the positive comments.
I am not always sure if the post processing/split toning is not a bit too much, but most of the time I like the images that way.

    Best regards,
    Andrea
