Tried Something Different. Not sure what type of Paper to print to,

The final look you want should dictate paper choice.

That said, my suggestion would be an uncoated fine art rag or watercolor paper. But this is my bias -- I am not a fan of tone-mapped images, but I respect the fact others like them. Given that aspect is predominant in these images, my feeling is a watercolor or other matt fine art rag paper will help soften that effect and make it look more natural as well as intentional like in a pastel or charcoal.
