This is the tail of the first british ford capri which has one of the prettiest metal asses ever seen.sorry but dont have a photo of the whole car.

ps,apologies to anyone who actually has a metal rear end.

At route 66
Despite the decay, there is a sublime sense of peace in this image. Even the old rusted auto seems to be still well taken care of as if the owner had simply removed the tires and wheels out of concern for the safety of the beloved machine and is about to return any day now with the new replacements and then, together, car and driver will lovingly continue on their journey.

This workshop would have been great except that we were on the road the whole time. Otherwise the weather is alway a consideration in getting there and back.

This Lockheed Electra 12A was operated by TWA between 1940-45 and is now owned and flown by the daughter of Paul Richter, one of the three founders of TWA.
