...LOL... long time no see... :)

Well, have been doing some research of places close to where I am, in Queenstown, and had no choice but share this links/place. Its sort of cheating, being not my pictures, but I think most New Zealanders have never heard of this place... Looks magic... The sun sets in distance to the left 45 degree angle, maybe.

Gertrude Saddle. Close to Homer Tunnel, Milford Sound. According to Dept of Conservation, 4-6 hours return. Seems suitable as a summer walk, meaning in other seasons could be, or is a lot of snow...

This looks like the difficult part to getting there, with a steel cable to guide one. Perhaps easy enough...

Thought I'd put some pictures up taken today near Queenstown, Remarkables mountains road and at Wye Creek, a barge, & hay going to a sheep station at Cecil Peak. Wye Creek a good place to park up overnight for self contained campers, although is not sign posted or marked from the road. From Wye Creek on the main road, the drive way is on the north side of creek. Can drive in & thru the gate, down to the lake. (Both pictures resized only, nothing else, 50mm lens).
