    X-100 EVF

Just picked up the X-100 yesterday.
Liking it so far, some nice images the first day out.

The first of many questions - the electronic view finder is quite dark. Is there a way to lighten it?

Ok, this may sound crazy but it's the truth.....

The EVF is not dark. It appears dark because the OVF is so clear and light. The EVF is about the same as most even from other cameras.
Put the camera down for about 5 minutes. Now turn it on and go right to the EVF..... see, it's not dark anymore....

uh oh, you looked at the OVF didn't you....That's too bright.....

Nice photos. How did you convert to monochrome?

BW conversion in Lightroom. Like how the X100 files convert to B&W. Never had much luck getting my 5D MII files to look good in B&W, not sure why that is.
