Thanks Johnny. After getting my camera and 35mm I quite quickly fancied the 18mm lens. As I had just sold some gear to partially reimburse myself for the initial purchase, I used that income instead to buy both the 18mm and 60mm! The funny thing is that I have used the 60mm more than the 18mm, not because there is anything 'wrong' with the 18mm, just that the 60 is a fun focal length.Lee, love the rich colors and detail, and the rhododendron too.
A few from around Seattle this eve...

Tom,The frog is back. Or his cousin. Macro is new to me; this time I had the sense to stop down to f/11 so there is some reasonable DOF. Also better because he's sitting on the redwood bench instead of a plastic lawn chair arm. 60mm.
Meet Mary the chipmunk terminator. This pretty little neighborhood cat is an expert chipmunk hunter and she spends the whole day patiently stalking chipmunks in our garden.
Blue Siberian
Yes indeed, but I apologized and she went on with her hunting. You have clearly invaded her sacred hunting grounds and she is none too pleased.
Drat! I still for get to check all settings. I shot at ISO 3200. But on this camera...Wow Thom you really did need all that f11!
