Fun with the Fuji X ___!

The AF with the 60mm lens is very bad. Also the low EVF refresh rate is annoying.

Re: Fun with the Fuji X-E1

My XE1 should arrive tomorrow (or rather, today). I was an early adopter of the XPro1, returned it after the aperture blade chatter annoyed me too much. But meaning to re-get the XPro1 (when the chatter was resolved) for a while until the XE1 came along. Hopefully, the XE1 will be every bit as good, minus the OVF.

nope, not much flooding at all. we got really lucky, the eye passed north of delaware. the worst of the flooding was the inlet bridge, and a section of the city of wilmington that's built on marsh. i grabbed a screenshot of the inlet bridge off of the traffic cameras at work, they're at the bottom. but that's a bridge on a strip of beach that's a few hundred feet wide between a bay and the ocean.

screenshots of traffic cameras:
it looks bad, but very few people live around here, and there are no businesses other than 1 marina which is fine. it's just a narrow strip of sandy beach between a large inlet and the ocean.

indian river inlet bridge (just finished construction this summer)

rt 1 in dewey which is just north of the bridge (under 4+ feet of water)
