X100 availability

I had heard that the X100 might be discontinued, but see it is still available at B&H and Adorama. I had also heard that it is was being discounted to about $999, but both B&H and Adorama are charging $1199.
Any one know the whole story?

There were lots of rumours that it would be replaced at Photokina, but that didn't happen, so maybe it lives on :)

That's what I was thinking. I'm surprised the price is holding at the original $1199 over a year after it release. Unfortunately I sold my X100 to invest more in my M4/3 system (which is up for sale now), and was looking at getting another X100.
