    Square w/ Fuji XPro-1 Framelines ??

    Hi,
I've looked on the web but can't quite confirm the answers.

1)The manual and specs show that the X-Pro 1 will shoot a 1:1 aspect ratio. Can someone with the camera confirm that when using the OVF that the frame lines actually changes to be square?
2)Will the the RAW file will be uncropped or cropped ?
thank you very much for the help!!

I can answer the first, yes the OVF does reflect he aspect ratio chosen.

Not able to the second question at this time. It may depend on the raw developer, I don't know though.

Just checked with the iPad PhotoRaw app and the raw is 3:2 when the JPG is square.

    In-camera setting RAW (L 1:1), Lightroom 4.3 file is 3264x3264.

Some raw file programs may respect the aspect ratio crop, others don't. It is easy enough to crop the raw to 1:1 if you want, and if you had accidentally missed something important in the 1:1 JPG you can recrop the raw file accordingly.
