    Anyone using the XC 50-230?

Any comments about the XC 50-230 lens?
Like it's range, weight, size and price, but pretty slow out on the long end.
With the 55-200 only $100 more currently I'm leaning that way, but wanted to see what others think about the 50-230.

Went for the XF 55-200. Will report on it after the Florida/Bahamas trip in early March.

Great lens, I didn't realize they were shipping the 50-230 yet.

The other zoom that is most appealing is the kit zoom on the X-T1, the 18-135mm.

BTW, if you are using the the 55-200 on the X-E2 there is lens firmware to allow it to work with the phase detect AF.

does anybody has experience with the xc 50-230 so far?

or even better a comparison in image quality between the xc50-230 and xf55-200?

For the price, this is an excellent lens. Its smaller and lighter than the 55-200, so makes for a good travel lens. OIS works very well. Sharp. It's a recommended lens.
