Looking For A Small Speedlight To Mount On XE-2

I rarely shoot with a flash on camera but since I switched to XE-2 I want a strong enough Flash but smaller than the normal speed lights. I plan on using a higher ISO so I can use a Smaller flash with a little loss in power. I only Shoot in Manual so I don't need a TTL flash so I should be able to buy one thats less expensive. Thank you

You probably want something simple with manual and a thyristor (auto). I have something like this (without bounce) that I just keep in my bag if I need fill under bright sun. It runs on two AA batteries, with is convenient. And it does not cost a fortune. I have not used this particular flash, but you can go to a place like B&H and just sort by price.

Just because you shoot in manual doesn't mean that you can't avail yourself of TTL flash.

Also, you may wish to consider a small speed-light that also allows tilting up and rotation for bounce and indirect lighting to avoid the typical "flash" look ... like this relatively tiny one:

I use the above Nissin TTL on a Sony mirrorless, and like the analog dials on the back if you want to do simple manual adjustments

Importantly, both these lights take 4 AA batteries which make a huge difference over ones that only take 2 AAs.
