Yeah this is great news and complicates things a bit during the “Mirrorless revolution.” The beat thing is that it’s available now for existing users and the Fuji versions are posted now as well.

*I updated my Pro license this morning and saw the update.
The interesting thing is that Adobe used to be the bundled software, now it it C1...

Yeah it’s like what Leica did (until 10 years ago with the announcement of the S2) and what Sony does now with Capture One. Great strategy and good to see Phase One finally pull their heads from their butts because there are enough Adobe alternative coming out the wood work that people are itching to try so they can be rid of Adobe. If Capture One and Affinity Photo did more partnering together then that would be a 100% legitimate alternative for most.

On a side note Skylum announced that upgrades to the 2019 version will be free to owners of the 2018 version. I assume that’s due to the DAM still not being released yet and we are nearing the end of the year. They put out a new teaser video showing the “speed” of the processor but no news on release yet.
